This is the most traditional and prestigious pattern. It consists of densely intersecting deep lines that form convex rhombuses (facets).
- Theeffect: thanks to the huge number of planes, the glass acts like a prism - splitting the light into the colours of the rainbow. It is massive and very luxurious to look at.
A variation on the classic mill, in which so-called "olives" - smooth, oval grooves reminiscent of the shape of the olive fruit - are inserted between the traditional notches.
- Theeffect: the olives form lenses that magnify and distort the image inside the glass, adding depth. It's a very elegant pattern, slightly lighter visually than a pure millwork.
This pattern is characterised by fine, dense incisions that cover the lower part of the glass bowl, resembling the texture of a pineapple peel.
